World Ocean Day
Foundation Stage
Reception had great fun celebrating World Ocean Day... they themed their writing around an under water scene, they created a magical and mysterious underwater collage scene and even counted all the amazing sea creatures in maths. They used construction kits to create their own oceans and beaches.
Year 1
Our Year One children enjoyed learning and taking part in lots of World Ocean Day activities. They started with an interactive assembly about how water is cleaned and then went on to creating posters to encourage people to try to keep our oceans safe and clean. They had fun making sea creature puppets as well as designing and making boats to see if they would float .
Year 3
Year 3 have had a brilliant day celebrating World Ocean Day today! They had a great live stream assembly from Severn trent, created posters to save the oceans and made boats and tested them to see if they would float.
