Assessment at St. Mary’s

In light of the new curriculum, St. Mary's has introduced an updated assessment procedure.  All children are assessed daily and lessons are planned to match their changing needs. All children are formally tracked every 12 weeks in Reading, Writing and Maths. This tracking is examined by senior leaders to ensure that all children are targeted effectively and any children who are struggling are quickly identified and targeted appropriately.
