Music at St. Mary's

" Music is taught very effectively as pupils learn to play instruments and sing to a good standard."

"Music and singing play a large part in the school's life. Pupils participate enthusiastically in making music and singing in special events at the school and in the local community. Pupils sing in tune and in harmony using three parts with good tonal quality."

Mrs Walton is the Music Teacher.

We have a dedicated Music Room for instrumental lessons.

We also run music clubs after school including ukulele club, choir, guitar club, recorder club and orchestra.

We work towards performing both in school and outside of school as we have good links with local high schools, churches and the Town Centre and are so proud of our Music Gold Mark.
