Welcome back after your half term break! We will be putting work on for each week under each new weekly star. If you've finished these activities then please look back at the other pages to find something you've not yet completed!

There are three different sets of questions for each comprehension, ranging from 1 star to 3 stars. Everyone should aim to complete the set of questions with two stars however if you wish to be challenged, go for 3 stars. (Answers are included.)
Writing
This is a writing skills mat that explains all the different skills we have learnt so far in Year 2. Try and use as many of these skills as you can, to improve your writing!
Before writing, it is always good to have a plan to map out your ideas before you begin. This is a planning sheet that can be used to help with your writing.
Here are three images you can use to write a story. These documents give you writing prompts and questions to help. Don't forget to use the planning sheet and the Year 2 writing mat to help you know what to include.
