Polar Express Science Investigations

The children all took part in a Polar Express themed STEM day. 

To start off the day they all watched the film for inspiration and then they took part in a variety of themed acitivities.

Foundation Stage

All aboard... Reception loved watching the Polar Express  as part of their science day. They completed a variety of activities about the film and Christmas themed activities.

Year 1

Year 1 designed outfits for an Inuit, took part in a snow cup challenge and they even tried to rescue the Arctic animals trapped in the ice .

Year 3

Year 3 have enjoyed a variety of science activities with the theme of the Polar Express. They had to make the tallest Christmas tree using cups, the tallest snowman with marshmallows and cocktail sticks and finally make a paper 'sleigh' for Santa.
