We have visited the Brampton Museum today, June 2019. We have looked at the sea side past and present. We had great fun!

The Reception children have had a fantastic morning! Mr Hill came into school to talk about his unusual pets which included a gorgeous gecko, cheery chameleon, bearded dragon, a royal python, a terrific tortoise and Tyson the Argentinian tegu.
A huge thank you to Newcastle under Lyme college for the wonderful learning experiences that you have given to our Reception children during our visits to the college. We very much appreciate all of the students hard work and commitment. It was a lovely surprise to receive the beautiful flowers and thank you cards for the children and staff today.We look forward to working with you at school later on in the summer term. Thank you! Boogie Beats at the Belong Village 11.04.19

The children created their own caterpillars from a delicious selection of new and different fruit and vegetables. They tasted delicious...mmmmm!!

Stem Week - 6.2.2019
We enjoyed a visit from Rosie's mum - Nurse Beal. She brought a friend with her Gorgeous George the Skeleton. Not only did we learn lots of fascinating facts about our bodies, we even got to put bandages on the skeleton.
Chinese New Year - 5th February 2019
The Reception children have had lots of fun learning about Chinese New Year. We have made dragons, practised writing chinese numbers,dressed up and even used chopsticks to pick up and eat noodles !!
Pizza making 31.01.19
We made delicious pizza's today! We talked about all the toppings and how to make a pizza. Then off we went making and creating our perfect pizza! We can't wait to taste them.
We wondered if the little red hen made a pizza with her dough!
Super smoothies in Reception!
We have enjoyed making fruit smoothies this morning. We chose lots of different fruits and put them in the blender. Then we watched the magic happen! We had made the most delicious smoothies. They were fruity and full of goodness... mmmmm!

Reception Christmas Creativity Workshops
Thank you to all of our families who joined us. We had lots of fun making party hats, christmas decorations, decorating wintery biscuits and creating Advent wreaths.

Early Years Opening Morning 04.12.18

Remembrance Day 11.11.18
Reception have enjoyed making hand print poppy wreaths, individual poppies to wear, iced poppy biscuits and dressed up to remember all those who died during wartime.
We made a smiley face biscuit to show how much we enjoy learning in Reception!
Reception have had great fun outdoors dressing the scarecrow and singing our 'Dingle Dangle Scarecrow song'
We even thought of a special name... Stacey Scarecrow...the perfect friend for Sam Scarecrow!
Look at Receptions lovely Autumn displays and Autumn creativity. We have had great fun creating the colours and textures of Autumn in bottles. In maths we have made comparisons using the language of shortest and tallest. The children enjoyed sorting and ordering the bottles.
Festival of the Blessed Sacrament
We are sharing in the love of Jesus by being kind, gentle and caring to our friends. We are thanking God for priests especially our parish priest Father Paul.
National Poetry Day Thursday 4th October, 2018
We went on an Autumn walk looking at all the signs of Autumn. We used our senses to explore leaves and had fun playing and dancing in the leaves! We described the leaves and created our own Autumn Leaf Poem.
We have had lots of fun settling into our new classes, making new friends and exploring our school environment.

We celebrated Roald Dahl Day on September 13th, 2018. We made magic potions outside and created this stunning display to brighten up the corridor.
We have lots of fun too in the outdoor area!
