Reading  SHINE morning.  Summer term 28.6.18

 

 Year 5 children, along with their parents, grandparents and other family members, took part in a reading morning. We looked at a range of figurative language and discussed with the children the importance that it has in their writing. We focused in particularly at the hidden meanings of the different figurative language in pop songs. We showed the importance of the comparison between the two in order to write the best answer.
