Our next Shine Day will take place on Friday 15th December 2017. This will involve using mathematical skills to design and make a Christmas card! We look forward to seeing you all!

Science SHINE morning.  Spring term 2.2.17

Year 5 children, along with their parents, grandparents and other family members, took part in a science morning. We looked at the effect of air resistance on a falling helicopter. The children cut out their own helicopters with different length wings. They then timed how quickly the helicopters fell to the ground.

Number of adults attending: 29

"A lovely opportunity to understand what the children are learning and spend time in the school environment."

"Thank you for a very enjoyable Shine morning. The teachers did a very good job of explaining the lesson and of keeping control of a large room with lots of people in."
